A closer look at Solrit in action.

01

The problem

Most productivity tools answer the wrong question. Todo apps ask “what’s next?”, but the real question is “where did today actually go?” The calendar holds the plan, notes hold the thoughts, and a todo list holds the intentions. Nothing connects them, and none of them tell you the truth about your hours. I built Solrit because I wanted the audit: an honest, hour-by-hour picture of the day, in one calm place.

02

What I built

  • Designed the whole product from a blank page: the hour-by-hour tracker, planner, tasks, notes, and analytics, every screen, every flow.
  • Built a marketing site that sells the idea like a film about your time, then converts visitors with real pricing ($6/mo) and a founding-circle plan.
  • Shipped an MCP API connector so AI assistants can read and write Solrit data.
  • Built a React Native mobile client on the same backend, a thin client in the same design language.
  • Dogfood it every single day. Friction gets found in the morning and fixed by the evening, shipped in weekly cycles with independent QA on every phase.

03

Outcome

A live, priced SaaS with real daily users. The strongest proof I can take an idea from zero to shipped and keep making it better. That same discipline ships in every client project.
